More of the same stuff that we did yesterday. About the only thing worth mentioning - make sure, when you make the stick boot covers, that you make a left one and a right one, and not two lefts or two rights. They're the same until you bend them and start drilling holes in them - before that, you can just flip it over and it's the other one.
Test fit on the front of the fuselage - seems just fine - can get to all the vital stuff underneath there. |
Second stick boot ring finished up. Same procedure as what we did yesterday to finish the other one up. |
The holes are done - the next step is getting the rings that will get riveted inside them - we're starting to cut the pieces for these now. |
I'm out of town for the rest of the week, so it looks like this will be it for now for this. We may start something else when we start on this again. We'll see.
