Stick boot cover after bending - to do this, I taped it to the seat pan and bent it to the shape as well as I could in order to get a clear idea of the bend was supposed to be - then untaped it, bent it some more, and put it back. Looks just fine!
Match drilling was also easy: tape it to the correct position, match drill the holes without nutplates in them, and then cleco those. Then centerpunch the ones with nutplates in them through the nutplates and pull it apart and drill those.
This is coming along, too: lots of filing and getting the edges just right, and it's about done.
