23 May 04 - Arrival at Alexander Tech Center

Summary of today: we showed up and got unpacked. Then we got a tour of the facility, and then found the box of empennage parts with my name on it. At this point we opened the box and took out the plans, and then walked around the airport to look at whatever airplanes happened to be parked all over the place. Of course, we took pictures of the whole thing.

Interestingly enough, we figured out that we're the only ones in the class this week, so we've got the instructor - whoever he is, I guess we'll meet him tomorrow - all to ourselves. It'll be interesting to see how that works out, I was expecting there to be more people in the class than just us.
