23 July 06 - Nutplates, Autopilot Wiring

Nice to have the wings off. Now getting from one side of the shop to the other isn't the total-body workout that it used to be, since I get plenty of those anyway, ha ha ha. The only regular exercise I get is pushing a mouse around.

There's a few odds and ends that we'll be trying to finish up with the wings, here, but probably the largest thing as far as time is going to be working with the nutplates for the fairings. Some of the stuff needs to be tweaked - as far as nutplates that are (as you can see in the picture) crammed right up against proseal and the gas tanks, and so they need to be relieved on one side so they will fit, etc.

My nutplate skills are not bad, but they're not fast, so I'll probably be working on nutplates for the next few days. They're just nutplates, so you'll have to be satisfied with just one picture.

Also, wiring here is being finished up: the connector is ready to attach to the autopilot servo.
